Long Time No See

Hey everyone, long time no see! We hope you are all well.

We've both been extremely busy at college doing our AS level exams. We have now completed our first year at college. It hasn't been the easiest year, as it was a massive leap from GCSE standard, however we have survived, haha! This now means we can focus on being productive in ways apart from revision and college work, from now until the end of summer, when A2 courses begin.

This is just a quick post to let you know that we should be posting content on here a lot more frequently and we have a couple of exciting posts lined up to share with you so stay tuned.

Harry Potter WORLD!

On the 3rd of January I visited the Harry Potter Studios in London. Being a big Harry Potter fan myself, I can honestly say it was insane and so overwhelming that I was seeing the actual sets and props. I don't want to explain everything that went on, and show you all the details, just because there are a few surprises along the way which are not worth spoiling. (If you are intending to go, which i think you should  DEFINITELY should;-) ) Here are some images I took during the tour. Considering not all of you will be massive Harry Potter fans I thought i would label some of the photos just to make it a little clearer. (But i expect most already know, haha :-) )  Enjoy.

As i'm studying graphic design A Level this was one of the most exciting parts to the tour. To see all the design work that had gone into Harry Potter was so so interesting and really inspiring.

(This was right at the end of the tour on a big screen)

I hope you enjoyed this post, we are hoping to be updating more often in the upcoming weeks and months. :-)
Have you been to Harry Potter World?

Haul! Haul! Haul!

finger top ring - river island // jumper - topshop // jeans - topshop // cami top - topshop

Heya!
So i went shopping and picked up some new bits and pieces. This was all bought with birthday money :-) When i go shopping i'm not usually very successful and i don't usually purchase anything as i am very indecisive. However, it was a happy and successful day!!! Yippee!!

01- These finger top rings are gorgeous! i really like how they feel on and i think they look super pretty. I had heard about them on Instagram and thought i must get them!

02- We all love Topshop frilly socks and these are such pretty colours so i had to get them! I love how pastel they are and will go with pretty much anything and they always look cute with rolled up jeans or skirts.

03- All i can say about this jumper is i am in love! I know it's still summer and hot but as soon as i saw this i wanted it! I will be wearing it a lot this winter and i am excited for it to get colder so i can. I love the material as well, it's not itchy in the slightest and it is nice a thick, yet airy.

04- Now i don't usually buy tops like these, but i really do like this. It's a cute little top that i can wear with anything, literally. It's easy to just pop on and go with a baggy cardigan.

05- I have wanted a top like this is sooo long! I literally love this style. The cut out shoulder tops seem to be quite in style at the moment and i just love how they look and hang on the arms. I also like how casual yet smart they are and it can be worn to many different occasions, from shopping to a meal out :-)

06- Leigh jeans, well what can i say, i love them. I have also wanted some acid jeans for a while now as well so these were a great buy

What have been your favourite clothes purchases recently?

16th Birthday Haul

2 t-shirts from Next // Daisy perfume // Grey Converse // MacBook Pro 13" //Apple Store Card

Hello everyone!
It was my birthday yesterday so i therefore wanted to do a post on the gifts i received from the family. I have received gifts from my friends but am going to do this in a separate post to this one.
I just want to make it clear that i am not bragging about what i got in any way, as i am fully grateful for everything.
I know myself that i love seeing birthday hauls, just because i love knowing what people get hehe!
These are only the main gifts i received, i also have some money and gift vouchers.

Anyway on my birthday i went to Chessington World of Adventures with one of my best friends Sophie, who is the other owner of this blog. I know, 16 and going to Chessington, well i have you know it was one of the best days. It was so so lovely and fun, the weather was good, not too hot and not too cold, and we only had one rain shower. There is also a zoo there if you are not familiar with this and there are theme park rides. It's pretty much 2 for 1. It was a great day!

Just want to thank all my friends and family for making my 16th the best!

imPress Nail Review

As it is summer i thought i would treat myself to some fake nails. I came across this product called imPRESS, which is basically a really affordable set of  fake nails. I got them from Boots but as i am aware they are available from Superdrug as well. These are my second set, the first set i bought were for prom, you can find them here.
I really loved this colour, online they actually look a lot darker but in person they are a lovely shade of pink, but not too pink. They are super easy to apply, you literally just peel off the plastic on the back and stick them on your nail, simple as that. I love the feel of them. I bought the short length as i find really long nails hard to handle, however these aren't too short, or too long, they are just right. I also love how natural they look, not just on the nail but how they feel, it feels like there is nothing stuck on.
The way they are presented in the packaging is adorable, and i really like how original this is.

Disadvantages-
The only thing i disliked was once you had applied the nails on one hand, peeling the plastic off the nails for the other hand was pretty tricky and quite fiddly, but do-able. Apart from that i love them.

Camping With Us

1-Cath Kidston (Pillow Case)
2-Argos
3-Cath Kidston (Cushion)
4- Handmade
5-Cath Kidston (Cushion)
6- eBay
7-eBay

Heya!
This week me and Sophie camped out in Sophie's back garden for a night in her new Cath Kidston tent!
It was so lovely! We arranged loads of cushions and blankets with bunting to make it as cosy as possible.
Apart from the bugs that decided to invade our territory, putting up the tent the wrong way and loosing our torches it was a fabulous night.

Tent Review:
The tent was lovely! You can find it here. It was so spacious inside, we were both incredibly shocked. It fits 2 but could fit 3, even 4 (but that is pushing it). There are 2 layers, one being the canopy (the luggage tags). This worked well as over night there was a lot of condensation build up, but because of the layers, this built up in the canopy and not where we were sleeping, so we didn't get wet. It was easy to put together... however we did it totally wrong to start with, probably because we were so excited to get into it we rushed, haha!
Neither of us would fault this tent and we wish to go to festivals in it in the near future

Summer has arrived

A couple of weeks ago, we both went for a walk and ended up at a nearby park that we hadn't visited in years. We took a couple of photos that we wanted to share with you. Although these photos were taken before the sun decided to poke its head around the clouds along with the unbearable heat that the UK is currently experiencing, it was still rather warm so we decided to play around with daisies and other flowers in preparation of summer's arrival.

Let us know if you would like to see more lifestyle or artistic photos like the ones above from us! We think it's refreshing to mix up our blog a little bit and explore with different post ideas.

Wanelo Wishlist

Hello, we apoligise for not posting lately and we promise we are going to be posting more but at the moment school as gotten on top of us. On a more positive note we have found a new discovery, dun dun dun, Wanelo. It has definitely become our latest addiction.
Download the free app from the app store and you can instantly browse and make wishlists of you're most wanted items straight from your phone. Or, if that's not for you, simply create your account manually on your computer and do the same thing. Wanelo is a fantastic way of discovering gorgeous clothing, gadgets, food or whatever your hearts content, and allows you to save them to different types of collections.

We discovered this amazing site through Instagram last week, and have not stopped browsing the endless items since. We are definitely ready for a much needed shopping trip! We thought we would show you some of my favourite discoveries. If you click on the links you will be directed to the items on Wanelo, but if you click 'buy' on the right hand side, you'll be taken to the actual shop.
